About Lauren

Hi, I’m Lauren, the founder of Trusted Teaching with Lauren. I’m a qualified teacher with over 11 years of experience in primary education and 5 years as a dedicated home tutor. But more importantly, I’m someone who believes that every child deserves to feel confident and capable.

Throughout my career, I’ve seen firsthand how many children struggle, not because they lack ability, but because they lack the right support. Overcrowded classrooms, a one-size-fits-all curriculum, and a fast-paced learning environment often leave children feeling lost, frustrated, or convinced they’re “not good enough.” That’s why I created Trusted Teaching with Lauren, to change that.

My teaching style is unique, engaging, and child centred. I bring enthusiasm, creativity, and a supportive approach to everything I do. I know that real learning happens when children feel safe, understood, and excited to explore new ideas. Whether it’s using imaginative methods to break down tricky SATs concepts, or helping a child rediscover their love of learning, I tailor everything to the individual.

I started my journey in a classroom, but I soon realised that some children thrive best with personalised attention. That’s why I transitioned from teaching full-time to working closely with families, offering expert guidance, tailored support, and effective resources that actually make a difference.
